Kentucky - Apply Refund to Estimated Tax Payments

If a taxpayer owes additional taxes to Kentucky during the year, they may be required to make estimated tax payments for the following tax year to the state. In some cases, this may result in a refund, which they may choose to apply toward the following year's estimated tax payments.
To apply the Kentucky refund to the next years estimated tax payments, from the main menu of the Kentucky return select:

- Enter the state refund amount to apply to your 20xx tax return
