Configuring to Print Returns to PDF

To configure Tax Processors Plus Desktop to print tax returns to PDF, from the Quick Menu select:
- Configuration
- Printer/Copies Setup
- Printer Setup
- Edit Printer Preferences
- Use Thumbnails when viewing PDFs - Set to Yes if you would like navigational thumbnails of the PDF to show.
- Print from View Results using Adobe - Set to Yes to open as a PDF anything printed from the View Results menu.
- View All Printjobs - Set to Yes to open as a PDF everything printed.
To print a PDF copy of a tax return, from the Main Menu of the tax return (Form 1040) select:
- View Results
- Print Return - Select the print option that you wish to use from the list of available print options.
- While viewing the PDF in Acrobat Reader, select File, Save As and select the location in which to save the PDF, renaming it if desired.
