Downloading and Installing Updates
Tax Processors Plus Desktop will download configured updates automatically every day when the program is started.
To manually update federal and state programs, from the Quick Menu select:
- Updates
- Download/Install Updates - Select the updates that are highlighted in red that you wish to install, then click Download.
In an office using Tax Processors Plus Desktop on more than one PC in a networked environment, both the PC designated as the file server and all workstation PCs need to download updates regularly.
