What is Pre-Ack Season?
Pre-ack season is the time period in which EROs can transmit tax returns BEFORE the official start of e-File when the IRS begins processing returns.
When is Pre-Ack Season?
Generally, banks start processing pre-ack loans on January 2nd and continue to process them until the official start of IRS e-File, usually in late January or early February. Tax Processors Plus will release messages in the Message Center to inform you of the exact dates when they are officially announced.
