Can I file a State Only return with a bank product?

Tax Processors Plus Online allows you to transmit only the state return with a bank product if the accepted federal return also utilized a bank product.
Conversely, if you're transmitting only the state return and the already filed federal return did not use a bank product, the state return can't use a bank product.
When the state return is being transmitted with the federal return, the state return can use a bank product if:
- The federal return has a refund and is also using a bank product, or
- The federal return has either no refund or a balance due.
Caveat: Disbursement by direct deposit isn't available, only by check.
