Business Return Modernized e-File for 2021 Business Tax Returns

The IRS has announced that the Modernized e-File System will re-open for Business Tax Returns starting at 9:00 a.m. on January 7, 2022. At this time, Tax Processors Plus has not opened our servers for business e-file, to include prior year business returns. It is anticipated that Tax Processors Plus will open electronic filing for business returns sometime during the week of January 10th. We will post another message in the message center when we begin processing business returns.
When Tax Processors Plus begins processing business returns, not all states will be approved for electronic filing. These states will contain an e-file block in the state electronic filing menu until we receive final approval from the state. Forms that are not approved to be mailed will contain a DO NOT MAIL watermark. This will not affect e-filing for these state forms. As we receive approvals from the states on each form, the watermarks will be removed and these changes will be released in the Update Utility as business state updates.
