Do I need to file an Application for Extension of Time to File for Idaho?
Online · Written guide Content date 1 min read
Idaho does not have a separate extension form for individual filers. Idaho allows an automatic extension to October 15 without filing an application if the taxpayer has paid at least 80% of the current year’s tax liability or 100% of the prior year’s tax liability. To avoid a late-penalty, use Form 51, Estimated Payment of Individual Income Tax, to make a payment.
To access Form 51 in Tax Processors Plus Online, from the Idaho Return menu select:
- Estimated Payment Voucher
- Estimated Payment Voucher, Form 51
