Other State Withholding

Desktop · Written guide Content date 1 min read

Generally, the Other state Withholding section of the Federal return is used to report any additional state withholdings that your client may have paid that are not accounted for anywhere else. For example, state taxes withheld on Form 1099-RRB or state taxes withheld on a K-1. Entries in this menu will flow to the state return indicated.

To enter Other State Withholding in the Tax Processors Plus Desktop program, from the main menu of the 1040 select:

  • Payments, Estimates & EIC
  • Other State Withholding
