Document Signature Manager Has No Place to Sign

When a signature pad is attached to a PC using the Premium version of Tax Processors Plus Desktop to prepare individual tax returns, upon exiting the return to arrive in the Receipt Menu you will see a menu line titled Document Signature Manager. It is under this menu line that the taxpayer and spouse can sign the return.
If the taxpayer and/or spouse is deceased, as indicated in the return's Personal Information menu, you won't see a place for them to sign in the Document Signature Manager. Any signature captured before they are indicated as deceased is retained, however.
