Marking a Return as Self-Prepared

In Tax Processors Plus Online, if you are keypunching a return for a client who prepared the return themselves for the purposes of e-filing, or you are preparing your own tax return, you will want to mark the return as a self-prepared return.
Marking the return as self-prepared removes all firm information and preparer information from the return.
To mark a tax return as self-prepared in Tax Processors Plus Online, from within the return select:
- E-File
- Return Details tab
- Optional Questions - Click to expand the menu.

Self-prepared return - Check this to remove preparer information:
